This computer course is a course that will assist you in upgrading your digital basic knowledge to the technical skills at professional level. It starts with instilling in you the confidence in academic writing, mathematics, and the digital basics. With time, you will also acquire knowledge in programming, software development, databases, networking and security against cyber attacks. At last stages, emphasis is made on the more advanced topics like the artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and development of large systems. At the completion of the degree, you will understand well the design, development, security and management of computer systems in the actual business world.

This course takes a cumulative time of 4 years with the foundation year. The foundation year is the first year, after which the students continue with the three years of the degree programme. 

Year 0 (Foundation) 
Academic Integrity and Assessment (20credits): Education on how to perform research in the right way and achieve the university academic requirements. 
Introduction to Predictive Intelligence (20 credits): elementary knowledge of computer systems, hardware and software. 
Mathematics (20 credits): Basic mathematical skills needed to be a programmer and a data analyst. 
Digital Skills and IT Applications (20 credits): This is hands-on skills in working with software tools and digital platforms. 
Study Skills and Academic  Development (20 credits): This course will help me enhance my time management skills, critical thinking skills, and academic skills

Year 1 
Fundamentals of programming (20 credits): History of coding and algorithms. 
Computer Systems architecture (20 credits): This course is knowledge of the collaboration between hardware and operating systems. 
Database Systems(20 credits): Designing and management of relational databases. 
Professional Studies in computing (20 credits): Teamwork, ethics, and workplace communication. 
Through the study of Discrete Mathematics for Computing, (20 credits): rational thought and mathematics of computing.
 
Year 2 
Another reason is that I plan to take Object-Oriented Programming (20 credits) due to its advanced programming and the principles of software design. 
Since the course targets students interested in computer networks, it includes: 
Software engineering(20 credits): Project management techniques Software development lifecycle. 
The cybersecurity Principles (20 credits) are required to defend against cyber threats and vulnerabilities. 
Data Structures and Algorithms(20 credits): Problem-solving techniques that are efficient and optimisation techniques. 
Research Methods in Computing(20 credits): Performing research and analysing technical data. 

Year 3 
Artificial intelligence and machine learning (20 credits): Introduction to intelligent systems and data-driven technologies. 
Cloud computing (20 credits): The knowledge of the cloud platform and distributed systems. 
Advanced Cybersecurity (20 credits) Risk assessment, penetration testing and security management. 
Strategic IT Management (20 credits): Technology and business strategy. 
Barkers Major Project: This isa significant independent project that uses all the knowledge and skills achieved during the degree.

Year 3
