
The BA (Hons) Counselling, Mental Health and Wellbeing course is designed to provide the students with the knowledge of theories within mental health and counselling. The main objective of this course is to equip the students with different counselling approaches and skills that will help them in their professional life. The foundation year is mainly concerned with the development of basic counselling ideas and theories, addressing mental health issues and their wellbeing. This prepares the students for better understanding of counselling knowledge, mental health wellbeing and distress and lifestyle in the subsequent years.

Counsellor/Therapist:
Responsible for addressing mental health issues and providing therapeutic support to individuals and families.
Mental Health Worker:
Work for raising awareness among communities about the mental health and help individuals to reach resources.
Youth Worker:
Responsible for guiding young people about positive development and addressing their mental heath issues.
