BSc (Hons) Applied Business Psychology with Foundation Year provides the opportunity to integrate psychology and business in order to learn how people think, behave and perform at workplace settings. This programme will equip you with the career in human resources, management, marketing, consultancy and organisational development; though not yet with the required standard to be allowed direct entry into the degree. The Foundation Year offers more academic help and confidence in the study skills, research techniques, and basic principles of psychology. It guarantees that you are well set to study on the degree level whilst building a good grasp on human behaviour within the working environment.

This course will take the full course of 4 years plus the foundation year. The foundation year is completed by students after which they move to the rest of the three years of the degree.

Quantitative Skills in Social Sciences (20 credits): Introduction to Data Interpretation and Statistics. 

Year 1 
Core Psychological Theories (20 credits): Course in cognitive, social and developmental psychology. 
Organisational Behaviour (20 credits): The behaviour in the work place environment. 
Business Environment and Management (20 credits): The study of the way business works and competes. 
Professional Skills Development (20 credits): Employability skills, teamwork and communication skills. 
Ethics of Psychology and Business (20 credits): Learning about ethics and professional responsibility. 

Year 2 
Motivation and Workplace Performance (20 credits): The application of motivation theories to the employee performance.

Applied Research Project (40 credits): The completion of an independent research project on a business psychology problem of the real world.
